Background behind the program: Scholarships for students in need

There are many students who sometimes face difficulty in paying for their academic expenses due to certain unforeseen circumstances.

The “Shraman – FFE Emergency Student Support Program” will be a boon for these students who are desperately looking for support from various sources. Here students may apply anytime during the year for the support, citing there dire financial needs.

Scholarship Award

• Upto Rs. 70,000 annually meant exclusively for their ongoing academic needs towards tuition fees, hostel and mess fees etc.

• Special approval for laptop support for selected students.

• Special emergency approvals for the students in crisis.

• Special approvals for one time support for specific needs.

Eligibility Criteria

• Be enrolled in a Central/ State Government College, University, or Institution of India in regular Undergraduate programs in the field of Engineering, Medicine and Core Mathematics/ Sciences.

• Justify a dire financial need/ genuine emergency situation requiring immediate financial assistance for Tuition fee, Hostel fee, Mess fee and other Institutional fee etc.

• Not getting any other scholarships whether government or private.

Selection Procedure

• All applications received will be evaluated based on the information submitted using the application form link provided above. 

• Students with the most financial need will be shortlisted and reviewed for further selection through phone/zoom call.

• All information submitted will be verified with the respective academic institutions

Scholarship Renewals

• Each student will have to establish a continued financial need to be able to renew this scholarship on an annual basis. 

• Shraman foundation will arrange for a virtual interview with each student to approval renewal of the scholarship on an annual basis
